Come to Wenzhou and run the world! At 8 am on December 8, the 2024 Wenzhou Marathon started at the Wenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. 20,000 elite runners and amateur enthusiasts from all over the country and 13 countries and regions including Greece, Japan, the United States, and Kenya gathered together to participate in this grand sports event and set a new record for the scale of Wenzhou sports events.
This event has three major events: full marathon (42.195km), half marathon (21.0975km), and fun run (about 6km). With the sound of the starting gun, the athletes rushed forward like an arrow from the string, and the participating uniforms of different colors formed a beautiful landscape.
It is worth noting that the Senken Cup 2024 Wenzhou Marathon Wenzhou Police Running Team Race is also in full swing. They are wearing “Wenzhou Police Running Team” running shirts, with a strong posture and steady steps, interpreting the spirit of Wenzhou police with sweat and perseverance. Here, they are not only contestants, but also a mobile escort force, adding “Wenzhou police speed” to the event.
After an exciting competition, the top three men’s and women’s groups of the Senken Cup 2024 Wenzhou Marathon Wenzhou Police Running Team have been born. Zhu Zhenhua, leader of the Wenzhou Police Association, and Chen Shixiao, vice president of Senken Group Co., Ltd., presented awards to the top three men and women.
In this event, in order to ensure that the athletes of the police running team maintain the best condition, Senken Group prepared drinking water and energy supplies before the game. After the game, a rich finishing gift was prepared for each athlete, praising their unremitting perseverance!
